On March 12th, Friends of Bata, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurs Club, launched the very first Founders of Tomorrow activation at Geneva Business School.
This was not a lecture.
Not a conference.
Not theory.
It was a safe space designed to transform your curiosity into action.
And from the very first minutes, the energy in the room made one thing clear: something had sparked.
🚀 A Launch Built on Purpose
The goal of this activation was simple, yet very powerful:
→ Inspire you, the students to see entrepreneurship as a real pathway
→ Give you the tools to take their first steps
→ Build confidence through hands on experience and not theory
Across nearly 4 hours, the session blended founder stories, practical tools, live exercises, and real participation, creating a bridge between your ideas and execution.
Because at Friends of Bata, we believe that: Entrepreneurship doesn’t start with funding. It starts with people above anything else.
🔥 A Room Full of Energy, Ideas, and Momentum
From the first few moments, the room came alive.
Students didn’t just attend the event, they engaged. They questioned. They collaborated.
Within minutes, curiosity turned into conversation.
Conversation turned into ideas.
And ideas started taking shape.
This wasn’t passive learning.
This was a live entrepreneurial experience.
💬 Founder Stories That Resonate
One of the highlights of the evening was the powerful founder journey shared by Charles Brepsant.
From physicist to filmmaker to entrepreneur, his path reminded everyone in the room of a truth: there is no right way to build.
Only experimentation.
Only persistence.
Only the courage to try again.
His story didn’t just inspire, it connected with our community.
Because it was real.
🧠 From Idea to Pitch — In Real Time
The session quickly shifted from inspiration to execution.
Led by Enrique Alvarado Hablutzel, students were challenged to:
→ Identify real problems
→ Build simple ideas
→ Turn them into pitches
→ Present them in front of the room
Without overthinking.
Without perfection.
But action.
Because one principle guided the entire experience:
Fall in love with the problem, not your first idea.
⚡ Learning by Doing
What made this activation different?
It wasn’t about listening.
It was about actually doing.
Students actively:
• Built ideas in teams
• Tested their way of thinking
• Pitched under pressure
• Received real-time feedback
And most importantly:
They experienced what it actually feels like to start.
🌍 Community First, Always
Another key takeaway emerged throughout the session:
Entrepreneurship is not a solo journey.
You are not alone.
It’s built through:
→ Conversations
→ Collaboration
→ Shared energy
→ A strong community
The room perfectly reflected a mix of ambition, curiosity, and connection.
And that’s where real confidence begins.
🤝 A Strong Collaboration
This first activation marked the start of a powerful collaboration between:
→ Friends of Bata
→ Geneva Business School
→ The Entrepreneurs Club
Supported by an incredible team and driven by engaged students, this kickoff set the foundation for what’s coming next.
And this is just the beginning.
